Manufacturing

Every stitch under one roof.

Eight benches, 120 machines and a pull testing rig, inside an 18,000 square foot building in Sialkot. Nothing is subcontracted.

What the floor
can absorb.

Capacity is planned per line, so a large order never pushes a small one off the schedule.

Eight benches.
One standard.

Nothing moves forward until the previous bench signs it off. Each row below is a physical station on the floor.

01

Material selection

Full grain and top grain hides bought for tensile strength, not for the price sheet. Every lot is traced back to a Leather Working Group rated tannery.

02

Hide inspection

Scars, thin flanks and growth lines are chalked out on a daylight table before cutting begins, so a weak panel never reaches a belt.

03

Precision cutting

Grain direction is mapped per panel with clicking dies, so belts and straps never stretch out of shape under load.

04

Skiving and layering

Two to four plies bonded and skived down to the exact thickness you specify, with the edges feathered so the stitch line sits flat.

05

Stitching

Six to eight stitches per inch on flatbed and post bed machines, bar tacked at every stress point with bonded nylon thread.

06

Hardware fitting

Levers, roller buckles, D-rings and rivets set on a hydraulic press to a fixed tonnage, so every closure seats the same way.

07

Load testing

Every pattern is pull tested on the rig against the golden sample before the run ships, and the result is logged against the order.

08

Global export

FOB, CIF, DDP and EXW with the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and test reports prepared in house.

Grain direction is mapped before a single panel is cut.

A belt cut across the grain will stretch under load no matter how well it is stitched. That decision is made at the cutting table, and it cannot be fixed later.

Leather we
actually stock.

Grades held in the hide store. Anything outside this list is possible, it just adds sourcing time.

GradeThicknessUsed forWhy
Full grain cowhide 3 mm to 13 mm Belts, dip belts, straps Strongest fibre structure, ages rather than wears
Top grain cowhide 1.5 mm to 3 mm Gloves, cuffs, facings Corrected surface, consistent colour across a run
Buffalo hide 3 mm to 10 mm Belts, harnesses Coarser grain, high tear strength
Vegetable tanned 3 mm to 10 mm Belts, premium lines Untreated finish, darkens with use
Suede split 1.2 mm to 2 mm Linings, padding covers Grip against the body, no slip under load
Goat nappa 0.8 mm to 1.4 mm Gloves, grips Thin and supple, keeps bar feel

Hardware

The part that
fails first.

Most returns on lifting gear are hardware, not leather. Every lever and buckle here is set on a hydraulic press at a fixed tonnage so the seat is identical across a run.

  • LeversStainless, nickel plated and black oxide. Cast or stamped, riveted on a hydraulic press.
  • Roller bucklesSingle and double prong in 4 in and 6 in, nickel free plating on request.
  • D-ringsWelded steel, load tested per batch, nickel or black oxide.
  • Rivets and eyeletsSolid brass and steel, colour matched to the buckle plating.
  • ThreadBonded nylon 69 and 138, colour matched or contrast.
  • Edge finishSanded, burnished and painted in three coats, or raw cut for veg tan lines.

Quality control

Tested, not
assumed.

A belt that has never been pulled is a claim, not a specification. Ours are rated on a rig and the number is written against your order.
